A monthly drumming group working with the turning of seasons and the wheel of the year. Bring your frame drum or tambourine.
The power of Shamanic practice can be found in choosing to align with the rhythm of nature. If we allow it to be our connection to source and teacher, great healing and happiness can be accessed. This yearly course, which can be dipped into at any time, devotes its study to the development of a drumming practice which facilitates this connection.
In this group, we focus on the idea of 'totem' - a representative of the energy of each month in a season. Each month we will meet a new representative and learn how to bring the energy and focus of the contemporary totem through the drum beat into our everyday lives.
This is a beautiful workshop for anyone who is interested in deepening their relationship with their drum and in working with power animals and with nature. It is perfect for anyone who would like to use tools of Shamanism to help them in being more present, connected and mindful in the living of their everyday lives.
